Leading Edge: 21st Century Thinking
There are many aspects of this era that are very different from the 20th century way of doing business. We need to develop new skills, new attitudes and new perceptions if we want to keep up.
Leading edge companies are using techniques that were only recently considered strange and inappropriate - maybe even "hippy stuff" or spiritual nonsense. Perhaps some of it is irrelevant to a modern business, yet some of it has profound relevance, and can be included in management protocols to great advantage. Insurance companies are aware that certain astrological signs are more accident prone; Buddhist mindfulness exercises are funded by the NHS - times are changing quickly.
It interests us to research this question and sort the wheat from the chaff, then to repackage the material in a form that executives can more readily understand and use.
